Shaw 650
The Shaw 650 was developed as a high-performance sportsboat that can be easily handled by a capable crew.
The design features a two-spreader carbon flexi-rig set up to make sail control and boat balance semi-automatic. A modest bulb gives the boat enough stability to be self righting.
The design is easily raced by a crew of four, although it can be sailed by two or three. This design is currently the fastest sportsboat of its size on the water in New Zealand. It has excellent upwind performance in all conditions, while being significantly faster than all of these designs reaching and running.
