A powerful boat with a high ballast ratio, the Shaw 8 is designed
for ease of handling by two people, either racing short-handed or day sailing
for pleasure. The 26 footer features a retractable prod and gennaker chute
set-up to enable easy launching and retrieval of the downwind sails.
As it will be kept in a marina, it has a fixed keel and and outboard in a
central well.
