Shaw 750

The Shaw 750 is a development of the successful Shaw 650 sportboat design.
The brief from Partridge Yachts was for a fast and manageable club racer which could also compete as a sportboat in circuit regattas under the local association rules.

Of carbon/E-glass epoxy construction, the design features a carbon rig, detachable carbon wings, and a carbon-reinforced lifting board and rudder. Designer Rob Shaw collaborated with Richard Roake to optimise the appendages, producing significant increases in efficiency.

The Shaw 750 fills a niche for a dual-purpose boat which can compete in club racing while also being a strong performer in regatta-style windward-leeward courses. It is designed to be easily sailed by a crew of four.
